Founder & Head Visionary
CEO Marcus Cooley, grew up immersed in construction and entertainment production before finding his way into the world of scenic mill shops and blockbuster films. His journey led him to become a visionary in design, content creation, and experiential brand marketing. With a finger on the pulse of the entertainment world and an eye for detail, Marcus ventured into the manufacturing industry to fill the void of quality equipment.
Marcus has since made a name for himself in design and content creation by being at the forefront of Production Design & Producing for new media/streaming content and experiential brand marketing design. In Addition to working as a Producer/Designer, Marcus owns a successful scenic shop and Entertainment Transportation rental agency. Marcus ability to Produce projects gave him a highly competitive edge in the business. With a unique ability to collectively encompass production design, industry experience, industry connections and producing into his work Marcus put himself in a leading role within the entertainment and live event industry. His close working and personal relationships with influential names such as, Dolly Parton, Warner Brothers, Capitol Records, RockstarJT and many others, have led to continual growth for Adventure Coast’s offerings.

VP of Business Development
Tate’s journey in the RV manufacturing industry has been a lifelong adventure. His roots trace back to his early years, spent contributing to his family’s business, ‘Avalon RV,’ which his grandfather founded. This hands-on exposure during the ’90s laid the foundation for his deep industry understanding.
At the age of 18, Tate embarked on a path of growth by venturing into various supplier companies. By 25, he joined his parents in establishing ‘The Little Trailer’ company, where he spearheaded the construction of their inaugural 2200 unit. Alongside a team of five, he also pioneered the creation of the purchasing department, a testament to his leadership.
Tate’s proficiency in drafting and CNC operations garnered him a pivotal role at Forest River. Over the span of a decade, he ascended the corporate ladder, progressing from receiving to the role of Purchasing Manager for Riverstone RV.
Subsequently, Tate embarked on a new chapter with a specialized company catering to the movie industry’s unique needs. His multifaceted role encompassed design, parts sourcing, manufacturing oversight, and the establishment of a robust sales network. Impressively, his inaugural year saw this network amass over $5 million in sales.
Tate’s journey now leads him to Adventure Coast Rentals, where he assumes the mantle of VP of Sales. This role necessitates a major life change, as he relocates to join our team. With an abundance of enthusiasm, experience, and knowledge, Tate is poised to infuse our team with innovation and energy.
His dedication to the RV world has sculpted him into a true industry leader, and his excitement to contribute to the Adventure Coast Rentals family is palpable.
Fleet Manager
Gary’s affinity for machines dates back to his childhood when he repaired engines and equipment for neighbors, driven by a relentless curiosity to unravel their inner workings. This hobby evolved into a passion, which, in turn, propelled him into the realm of heavy trucks.
His father’s role as Vice President of Sales at Strick Trailer MFG cemented Gary’s destiny. Enthusiastically accompanying him on business trips to manufacturing facilities, Gary knew early on that his calling lay in the heavy truck and equipment industry.
At 18, Gary secured an apprenticeship with Estes Express Lines in Richmond, VA, sparking a journey of skill refinement and relentless dedication. Progressing from apprentice to Journeyman technician, his expertise continued to flourish. His trajectory led him through esteemed positions in the Paccar dealer network in Bellevue, WA, before innovating a mobile service program for Mack Trucks in Atlanta, GA.
As the Fleet Manager for Custom Ecology, a major trucking company in the southeastern U.S., Gary supervised operations across Georgia and Florida. Overseeing a vast fleet comprising 800 power units, heavy equipment, and almost 2,500 trailers, his expertise thrived in the face of formidable challenges.
This journey ultimately led him to the demanding film industry. Ready to tackle its unique rigors, Gary is thrilled to join the Adventure Coast team. With an unswerving commitment, he’s excited to ensure our customers experience unparalleled support and service, a testament to our team’s unwavering dedication.
